ePS completes SOC 2 Type 2 security examination

The third-party validation confirms the company's security policies and procedures are not only properly designed but are functioning effectively in day-to-day operations.

ePS (eProductivity Software) has announced it has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type 2 examination, providing independent verification that the security controls supporting its cloud-based software operate consistently over time.

Conducted by an independent CPA firm, the examination evaluated ePS’ security controls between November 2025 and May 2026 against the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria for Security. The milestone follows the company’s completion of a SOC 2 Type 1 examination in late 2025.

According to ePS, the Type 2 examination provides customers with third-party validation that the company’s security policies and procedures are not only properly designed but are functioning effectively in day-to-day operations.

The assessment reviewed areas including role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, secure software development and change management, continuous monitoring, and incident response, backup, and recovery processes.

“Our customers are trusting us with the systems that run their operations every day,” said Scott Brown, chief information officer at ePS. “This result tells them that trust is well placed. It’s independent confirmation that we take that responsibility seriously, and that we’ll keep earning it as we grow.”

The company said the certification supports its continued expansion of CommandCore, its cloud-based packaging manufacturing platform, where security remains a core component of the software architecture.
